corporate Worship

And let us consider how to stir one another up to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24-25).

In our corporate worship, we strive to faithfully honor God with both our practice and our affections. We endeavor to shape our practice of worship by Scripture, implementing those elements of worship found in God’s word and saturating each element of our worship with biblical truth.  This impacts every part of our service from sitting under expository preaching, to singing rich biblical and theological songs, to praying biblically-themed prayers, and to reading Scripture publicly.

Along with this, we want to be a group of people that are affectionate in our worship.  Anyone who is in Christ is a “new creation” (2 Cor. 5:17), and has been given a reason to sing.  We gather every Sunday as a body of people who have been saved by God’s grace in Christ.  Therefore, each week we recount the marvelous news of the gospel, striving to make much of Christ in our worship.

If you visit with us you will find our order of worship looks something like this:
