MUSIC MINISTER: Jim Brooks
Jim was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He was raised in a Christian home and made his profession of faith at age 11. While attending college, Jim married his wife, Vanita. Jim’s call to ministry came when he was serving in the U.S. Air Force and upon retirement, he enrolled in seminary preparing for a music ministry. Jim and Vanita felt called to missions. They continued their ministry in Texas until they were given the opportunity to go to Japan to serve with the International Mission Board, and served for 14 years. Jim is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving in the music ministry of The First Baptist Church of Fisherville.
CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR: Andrea Metz
Andrea Metz is the Children’s Ministry Director here at First Baptist Church of Fisherville. She and her husband Rocky are the proud parents of four beautiful girls. Andrea has a deep passion for Jesus Christ and sharing his teachings with children. Through the years she has gained much experience in teaching children, organizing and overseeing various projects. She is thrilled to have the honor of serving the children and families at FBCF!
